When Nations Shake

When Nations Shake: A Prophetic Perspective on the Current Chaos

December 18, 20253 min read

If you look at the natural realm right now, it is easy to despair.

Economic systems are trembling, cultural foundations are cracking, and there is a pervasive sense of uncertainty in the atmosphere. You can see it in the eyes of people at the grocery store; you can hear it in the frantic tone of the news cycle. The illusion of stability that the world has rested on for the last few decades is evaporating.

But the prophetic perspective is different.

As citizens of the Kingdom, we do not ignore the news, but we do not derive our emotional state from it. We do not look at the shaking; we look for the purpose behind it.

God is Not Confused

One of the most dangerous things a believer can do in this season is to assume that because the world is chaotic, God is absent. The opposite is true.

When God shakes the nations, He is not losing control; He is revealing foundations.

Hebrews 12:26-27 gives us the blueprint for this specific era:

"Now He has promised, saying, 'Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.' Now this, 'Yet once more,' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain."

We are currently in a transition period. The "things that are made"—man-made systems, political idols, economic bubbles, and even religious structures built on hype rather than holiness—are being tested.

This is uncomfortable, but it is necessary. God is preparing a Bride who can rule in the midst of enemies, not just survive them. He is stripping us of our reliance on "Egypt" (the world's systems) so that we can relearn how to rely on the Kingdom.

The Issachar Mandate: Knowing What to Do

In 1 Chronicles 12:32, we read about the Sons of Issachar, "men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do."

Notice the two parts of that anointing:

  1. Understanding the Times: Interpreting the spiritual climate.

  2. Knowing What to Do: Practical strategy.

Many people in the prophetic movement today are stuck on step one. They are obsessed with "doom-scrolling," predicting the next catastrophe, or trying to figure out who the Antichrist is. They have information, but they have no strategy. That produces fear.

The mandate of The Prophetic Vault is to move you into the second half of that verse. It is not enough to know that the economy is shaking; you must know how to build a Kingdom economy. It is not enough to know that the culture is dark; you must know how to be a city set on a hill.

Do Not Fear the Night

Over the coming months on this site, we will be breaking down specific events—not to predict dates, but to understand seasons. We will look at the global landscape not with the eyes of a victim, but with the eyes of a Ruler.

Do not fear the headlines. The darker the night, the brighter the stars. This is the environment you were created to thrive in.

The shaking is not the end of the story. It is the clearing of the construction site so that the true Kingdom can be built.

Go Deeper: Stability Starts in the Mind

You cannot interpret the times if your mind is clouded by fear or the "orphan spirit." If you feel anxiety rising every time you read the news, you are not operating in your full authority.

My book, A Free Mind, teaches you how to decouple your internal peace from external circumstances. It is the manual for mental stability in an unstable world.
